Islandwood Program Info Session

In response to Governor Inslee’s call for increased social distancing related to COVID-19, IslandWood has made the decision to cancel this In-Person Information Session at the University of Washington. While it saddens us to cancel this event, it is the right choice to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff and community at large.

If you are interested in learning more about IslandWood’s Graduate Program in Education for Environment and Community, please reach out to Kathie Bradford at or join us for our upcoming Online Information Session on Tuesday, April 14.

Join us on the University of Washington’s beautiful campus to learn more about IslandWood’s Graduate Program in Education for Environment & Community, offered in partnership with the top-ranked University of Washington College of Education.  This 10-month teaching residency prepares culturally-responsive educators capable of catalyzing community and environmental stewardship. During this session, we will cover program design, admission requirements, and funding opportunities.
